Our Services

Qualified appraisals are prepared for a number of purposes and are designed to fit the needs of the client.

  • A preliminary survey of the properties to be appraised, and a consultation with the client, is made to determine the purpose and use of the appraisal.

  • A proposal is submitted detailing the assignment with an estimate of the costs.

  • An on-site property inspection noting condition with photographs and descriptive information is made.

  • Research and document preparation is undertaken to conclude the appropriate value, using the current guidelines of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

  • A comprehensive report  is delivered to the client and includes two bound and annotated color copies, or additional copies if the client chooses.

McTague Appraisers can provide a definitive plan for the client with a logical result, whether a qualified appraisal, a  consultation, cataloging services, or assistance with the acquisition or disposition of a collection or minor work.  References are available upon request.
